The NC Quick Pass Sticker is now accepted on all E-ZPass toll roads, meaning you can use any NC Quick Pass transponder and pay tolls in 19 states. 

Below are common questions regarding this recent update.  

The NC Quick Pass Sticker is free after signing up for a NC Quick Pass account. 

This change will not affect your NC Quick Pass hardcase transponder. 

If you already have a NC Quick Pass Sticker, you do not need to do anything. 

Customers with both a NC Quick Pass Sticker and a NC Quick Pass hardcase transponder in the same vehicle may be given a duplicate charge on toll roads. The NC Quick Pass hardcase transponder should be removed to prevent this from happening.  

The NC Quick Pass Sticker does not automatically allow a customer to set HOV status in the I-77 Express Lanes. Customers with a NC Quick Pass transponder can set HOV status on the NC Quick Pass app or can purchase a NC Quick Pass Flex.
