Activate New Transponder

Need to pay your toll invoice and convert to an account to activate your new transponder? Here’s how:

• Visit the Pay Now page     
• You can use your invoice number or license plate number to search for your invoice
• Select the Convert to a NC Quick Pass Account button 
• Enter all required information.
• Select the Activate Transponder button on the Transponders section
• Make sure to have Activate Transponder selected as your Transponder Method
• Select Pay Now to pay your invoice
• Select the View Account button to see your new NC Quick Pass account

Make sure to install your transponder on your windshield before you hit the road.

• Visit the Account Options page to decide which account is best for you
• Enter all required information
• Select the Activate Transponder button on the Transponders section
• Make sure to have Activate Transponder selected as your Transponder Method
• Select Pay Now to pay your toll invoice
• Select the View Account button to see your new NC Quick Pass account

Need to login to your NC Quick Pass account to activate your new transponder? Here’s how:

1. Login to your account using your username and password
2. The Add Transponder pop-up will automatically display
3. Enter the required information, including the Transponder Number and Activation Code
